FeedNC

When FeedNC, originally located in Downtown Mooresville, decided it was time to scale its facility and expand its outreach, it partnered with G.L. Wilson Building Company and project architect Schaeffer Design Associates. Combining Chief Industries’ pre-engineered metal structures with more traditional steel frame construction to achieve a community-oriented and highly functional space for employees, volunteers, and visitors alike, this 26,459-square-foot multipurpose facility houses a large food bank, industrial and instruction kitchens, classroom space, a cafeteria-style dining area, and ample office space for staff.

FeedNC received the 2023 Building of The Year Award from Chief Industries.
